Karval Athletics
Karval High School is a member of the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA). Students participating in any interscholastic contest at the middle school or high school level must conform to the eligibility requirements of this association and the District.
Participation in extra-curricular activities is dependent upon school attendance for at least 50% of the school day on the day (or preceding day if applicable) of the activity, practice, or game. The school day is 450 minutes long and class periods are 55 minutes long. To be in compliance, a student must be present for the equivalent of 4 class periods or 225 minutes. Participation in weekend (Friday-Sunday) activities is determined by attendance the preceding Thursday.
Students on the down list are not eligible to participate in any co-curricular or extra-curricular activities during that week. Guidelines for participation in activity programs are contained in a separate packet.
